About the Tour

A Journey of Love and Remembrance

The Sisters Burdah Tour is a series of gatherings taking place across different masjids in the lead-up to Rabi ul Awwal. Each gathering will include the recitation of selected verses from Qasidah al-Burdah alongside a bayan exploring the life, character and beauty of Rasulullah ﷺ.

These gatherings are an opportunity for sisters to come together, send salawat, learn from the seerah and prepare their hearts for the blessed month of Mawlid.

She has since delivered classes, seminars, retreats and community programmes exploring faith, spirituality and the responsibilities of Muslims today.

Leading the Recitation

Sister Aaliyah

Sister Aaliyah is the sister of Shaykh As'ad Ali and leads the recitation of the Burdah Sharif every Monday at Imdadiyyah in Sheffield — a gathering that has become a weekly anchor of love for the Messenger ﷺ for sisters in the city.

On this tour she carries that same devotion from city to city, guiding the qasidah verse by verse so that every sister, whether familiar with the Burdah or hearing it for the first time, can join her voice with confidence.
